Every stage

Turn your business into a brand with force.

Three jobs, seven connected stages: get clear on what the business stands for, make it recognizable, then put it to work. BrandOS carries the strategy and digital tools; Turtle Labs Studio handles the identity work. Start where you are, not at the beginning.

01 / 03

Get clear

Find what is getting in the way, then decide what the business stands for.

  1. 01 Free

    Find out where you are

    SCORECARD

    Needs
Nothing. 39 questions and your website address.
    Produces
A scored audit across 11 dimensions with every finding and what to do about it.
  2. 02 Rs 9,499

    Decide what you stand for

    STRATEGY

    Needs
The audit, and two hours of somebody senior.
    Produces
Purpose, vision, values, ICP, positioning, differentiator and voice, plus a 90-day tracker that turns it into dated actions.

02 / 03

Make it recognizable

Turn that strategy into a name and identity people can recognize everywhere.

  1. Name it

    NAME

    Needs
The positioning, because a name chosen before it is a name chosen blind.
    Produces
A shortlist with the argument for each, domain and trademark surface checks, taglines and the positioning line.

Scoped against a brief and quoted for the work. If you name something every few weeks, that is a retainer rather than a project, and it is the same team either way.

Most businesses arrive with a name they are keeping. Skip this.

  2. Draw it

    MARK

    Needs
    The name and the positioning.
    Produces
Logo with construction and clear space, full identity system, and the brand manual written for somebody who was not in the room.

The identity is the easy half. The expensive half is the two years afterwards, when somebody needs an asset on a Tuesday and makes one that is nearly right. That part is a retainer, and it is quoted separately.

  3. Put it on things

    PRINT

    Needs
    The identity system.
    Produces
Brochure, letterhead, cards, packaging and the editable templates behind them, set up for real print.

Quoted per piece or per set. Nobody needs all their collateral at once, so a standing production queue is a retainer instead and is quoted as one.

03 / 03

Show up and grow

Put the brand to work online, then keep it consistent as the business grows.

  1. 06 Rs 3,799

    Build the website

    BUILDon WebOS

    Needs
    The identity and the voice.
    Produces
A site built against the audit, under 500 KB, eight components, exported as a working system rather than a picture of one.
  2. Run it

    CONTENT

    Needs
Everything above, which is why it is last.
    Produces
Campaigns written in your voice, designed against your identity, scheduled across channels, and read back against brand goals rather than vanity numbers.

The only one of these that was always a retainer. Publishing is a rhythm, and a brand that posts in bursts reads as a brand in trouble. Quoted against the channels and the volume rather than sold at one price.

Before you read the prices

You can join partway

Most businesses arrive with a name they are keeping and half an identity. The audit tells you which stages you actually need, and we would rather say "skip three of these" than sell you the whole path.

The order above is a dependency order, not a menu. A logo drawn before the positioning is settled is a logo that gets redrawn, which is why each stage says what it needs before it says what it costs.

Turtle Labs Studio

Naming, the identity system, the manual and the collateral are project work, scoped against a brief and quoted for what it is.

They used to sit here on a monthly fee, which told a reader that a whole brand identity was included in a low subscription. It is not, and saying so was the more expensive mistake.

Start a project brief

Ongoing work, a standing production queue or a campaign every month, is a retainer and is quoted separately.
